The Three Year Old Room takes the steps of language development
one step further. We will begin to help the children become
a part of a larger group. We work with them on sharing their
experiences and feelings with each other. During this time
the children will begin to expand their attention spans by
sitting in a group for a short period of time whether it is
working on an art project or listening to a story. Large and
small motor skill development will also be a part of the curriculum
for this age group. Children will begin to learn balance and
control by playing on our playground and pre-writing and eye-hand
coordination skills through use of scissors, play dough and
coloring. These children will also have opportunities to visit
the art room. This program
also has one teacher for every six children with a capacity
of 12 children. |
